Hi there! I'm Jenn aka kissmykitty, a 38 year old married, mother to two amazing teenagers (Alyssa and Ryan), full-time college-attending (currently halfway to an Associates Degree in Computer Science), crazy cat rescue lady from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I have spent over half of my life on the internet, and after a several year hiatus while I collectively lost and got my shit together, I'm back! I no longer think that Fern had FIP, I think the symptoms were of total heart failure

But now I'm treating an actual FIP cat and in its most aggressive form. She was a previous foster I raised in 2021 and now belongs to a family member

So yeah more stress. Ha

I had a very good day with my firstborn sproglet, @stxrcane. It's hard to believe she's almost as old as I was when I was pregnant with her!

Please keep my brother @herrhamed's kitty, Charisma, in your thoughts. She has neurological FIP (aka "dry" FIP) and is very sick. These next few days are critical as we give her the FIP treatment (a drug that isn't even regulated yet in the U.S.) and supportive meds and fluids. She was one of our rescue kittens from an October 2021 litter, and she means the world to my brother.
