The devil you know

We’re choosing to replace our 2005 Chevrolet Equinox’s engine, and here’s why:

• she’s bought and paid for – no loans
• we replaced:
  • air conditioning system
  • stereo and a few speakers; we also added a back-up camera
  • thermostat
  • water pump
  • coolant reservoir and hoses
  • tires
  • brakes
  • rotors
  • coming soon: calipers

Besides, the last thing we want is a car payment to worry about, and to be perfectly honest, with our current credit scores and income, it’s doubtful we could obtain and handle one, anyway.

And honestly, there is something to be said about the devil you know. She’s our girl, we know her and her quirks, and we’re standing by her.
